Rory McLeod, B.Sc. - Geotechnical Specialist

Rory holds a combined degree in Geography and Geology and has 20 years of experience working in Forest Engineering. Over this time period Rory worked for forestry consulting companies, professional engineering geology firms, and the woodlands office of a major forest licensee. He has experience performing road deactivation prescriptions, road location layout, Level 2 road surveying, geometric road design, bridge site surveys, drainage layout, road construction costing, and road permitting. He has also assisted many different geotechnical professionals in landslide investigations, road location reviews, road reconstruction prescriptions, gravel pit investigations, and road engineering services.

In 2017 Rory began working with SCL assisting in Terrain Stability Assessments including road stability prescriptions, and also began completing road and bridge site inspections in the Nakusp area for Interfor.
