Olindo Chiocca MBA P.Eng. - Geotechnical Engineer

Olindo is a geotechnical engineer with a strong background of experience related to forest roads and forest development. Olindo has been completing projects for Sitkum as an independent subcontractor since 2000. His experience has been acquired through the completion of over 400 forest related geotechnical projects which involved planning, field investigation, hazard and risk analysis, and the development of site specific prescriptions and recommendations, as well as report writing and reviewing of the final engineering reports. Project types include; terrain stability and soil erosion assessments for roads and cutblocks, landslide investigations, watershed investigation and remediation as well as road upgrade, reconstruction and deactivation prescriptions. Olindo also has worked with a number of contractors and operators on-site in a supervisory or advisory role. Prior to moving to British Columbia in 1995, Olindo was a project manager for hi-rise construction projects in Ontario.
